A handmade game full of gorgeous colors that stimulates the little one’s mind and keeps him interested and wanting more? We say YES! You guessed, we created a memory cards game for kids using just a handful of tools – and the results were better than we expected. If you love a DIY game that doesn’t take ages to create, then this one’s the right one for you. Here’s a quick step by step guide with fool-proof results.
You Will Need:
– 8 X 3’’/5’’ (8/12cm) sturdy white cardstock paper
– Our drawing stencil art set
– Black pen (we used a fineliner pen)
– Colored sharpies
– Scissors and ruler if using larger paper
approx 15 mn
Step 1: Trace 4 different designs twice
Step 2: Draw details on your designs
Step 3:Color the designs using sharpies
There are lots of possibilities when it comes to the designs on each card – we definitely had a hard time choosing just a few! You can go for a specific theme, such as animals, space or cars or you can mix and match (literally so!) different shapes and styles… and no matter what you do, you can count on offering the kids a great amount of fun.
